Training Sessions
Capital Area Teen Court holds its training sessions for youths and adults four times per year, usually on a Saturday. The five hour session is held at the Campbell University School of Law at 225 Hillsborough St. in downtown Raleigh . The next training session will be Saturday, June 2, 2012, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

Previous Sessions
On Saturday, February 11, 2012, Teen Court held its quarterly volunteer training at Campbell University School of Law in downtown Raleigh. We were pleased to have a great turnout, as 87 youth and adult volunteers participated in the training. The youths exhibited great enthusiasm and excitement in having the opportunity in volunteering with Teen Court. The training covered the Teen Court practice model, Restorative Justice, which was presented by Mr. Jon Powell (Campbell University Restorative Justice Project). The volunteers were shown videos addressing bullying and the mediation process. In addition, the youth participated in a mock trial.
